Both are standard model R13s: I bought the A new in 2001, the Bb new in 2000. Neither have any cracks, sticking keys, pad leaks, or any specific problems so far as I can tell. My A clarinet is much more responsive, mellow, and is easier to blow through, especially on the altissimo notes. The Mouthpiece is a stamped 926 mouthpiece and again in very good conditions. The case is old, and possibly original, it still functions well and comes with keys for the locks. It's not mandatory to do the bell from wood...The only recording that I've ever come across (but do not own) of the Bozza Clarinet Concerto was by Dimitri Ashkenazy, with the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Jonathan Nott (Pan 510107). Check Colin Bradbury's discography; he may have recorded solo with piano.
